1. What is The Dragon Elixir?
The Dragon Elixir is our handmade, small-batch food product. It starts with apple cider vinegar with the mother, then we infuse it with bold food ingredients like garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, jalapeño, beets, raw honey, and molasses. It's tangy, warming, and has a kick. As above, so below: what you put in is what you get out. One 16 oz bottle is $35.
2. What's in it? Any allergens?
The main ingredients are apple cider vinegar with the mother, garlic, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, jalapeño, beets, raw honey, and molasses, plus the other ingredients listed on our product page and label.
Allergen and sensitivity note: The Elixir contains raw honey. It also contains ingredients some people are sensitive to, such as garlic and hot peppers (jalapeño), and it is acidic. Always check the full ingredient list on the bottle label before you enjoy it. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, the label is the final word.
3. How do I enjoy it?
Our serving suggestion is about 2 tablespoons a day. Mix it into a glass of water, or take it straight as a quick shot if you like the kick. Many people enjoy it as part of a daily routine that supports digestion and overall wellness. This is a serving suggestion only. Find what works for you, and dilute it more if it's too strong.
Shake well before each use.
4. How should I store it?
Before opening, keep it sealed in a cool, dark place like a pantry. After opening, keep it in the refrigerator. Don't leave it in a hot car, garage, or direct sun.
5. How long does it last?
Unopened: Keep it sealed in a cool, dark place. The flavor deepens over time.
Once opened: Refrigerate it, and enjoy within 6-12 months.
When to toss it: Throw the bottle out if the cap bulges or hisses, if mold appears on top, or if it smells off. A cloudy mother and sediment at the bottom are normal.
6. Is it safe for kids? What about pregnancy?
Never give The Dragon Elixir to infants under 1 year old, because it contains raw honey. For older children, check with your child's doctor first.
If you are pregnant, nursing, taking any medication, or managing a health condition, talk with your doctor before adding the Elixir to your routine.
7. Why is there stuff floating or settled at the bottom?
It's supposed to be there. The cloudy "mother" is a natural part of raw apple cider vinegar, and the sediment comes from the real food ingredients we infuse into every batch. Some settling and differences between batches are normal for a handmade product. Just shake well before each use.
8. Do you ship? Can I pick up or get local delivery?
Yes. We ship anywhere in the United States. Orders ship within 1-3 business days, and shipping runs $7-$10 depending on your location, with the exact amount shown at checkout. 9. What's your return policy?
Because it's a food product, we can't accept returns of opened bottles. That's for food safety. If your order arrives damaged, leaking, or wrong and unopened, contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
